Wisdom Lodge No. 202 F. & A.M.

Message From the Master

November 2007

Brethren:
Now is the hour.  Now is the time to offer up to God thanks for his manifold blessings.

For myself, I continue to enjoy good health and fellowship.  For out Masonic fraternity and our Lodge we have moved forward, adding new members, restoring an interest in the basic tenets of Freemasonry, granting to our Officers the desire to be the best that they can be, and creating an atmosphere of good fellowship.  For our Nation, with isolated exception, it has been an era of sustained growth and prosperity.  For you... well only you can answer that question but, on bended knee you should give thanks.  Remember the old saying, "I had no shoes and complained until I met a man who had no feet".

This month our families will join together with turkey, dressing, pumpkin pie and all the fixings to celebrate that first Thanksgiving.  May you and your family be together for that celebration and may our men and women, serving on far away shores, be able to return to the arms of their loved ones sound in mind and body.

Last month we joined together to celebrate our Constitution and give thanks to the men and women that protect us on a daily basis.  It was a great party.  Our Most Worshipful Past Grand Master David Doan gave the keynote address after which we honored Pasadena Police Department and the Pasadena Fire Department.

This month we will gather with the Grand Master and some of the Grand Lodge Officers to thank Gerard Shirikjian for his efforts to support Grand Lodge and Ararat Lodge in general and our Lodge in particular.
