MASTER'S MESSAGE - MARCH 2006

Greetings and best wishes from the East. We are very busy this year attending to planning events for the upcoming year and conferring degrees. We have installed Brother Francisco Pineda as Junior Steward and I am please to report that all of our new Officers this year are attending regularly and with great enthusiasm. Preparing them for advancement and for the variety of degree work we are conducting has kept all of busy so far this year.

I must report that the growth trend is a welcome feeling and truly demonstrates that our society has not lost the desire to socialize and spend time with each other, improving ones self and assisting others. It seems that this desire to belong, serve and nourish ones internal needs is a value that we are beginning to re-kindle and re-build. The life long impressions that each candidate is given as they journey through their Masonic careers are beyond tangible value. These impressions cause reflection in our daily lives and deeds, and should ultimately demonstrate our commitment to self improvement and to bettering society.

Masonry has survived through time laden with disasters, both natural and as provoked by man, social evolution and a host of hot and cold ideals. This is the reason that I believe we are in the up-swing of membership, a return to core values from a generation barraged with choices and one that is still looking to improve. This is the time to belong, participate and experience with us this exciting period in life. Don’t miss it.

Fraternally,
Steve Cooper, Master
