Greetings and best wishes for a happy new year to all! It is once
again the time when many of us test our will power in keeping our
commitment to those resolutions we make just before the end of the
year. To those who have made resolutions and established goals for
the New Year, I sincerely wish you the strength to stick to it and
enjoy your reward, whatever your desire may be.
For those who have followed the announcements
in the Beehive over the past year, you are aware that your Lodge
is experiencing some reward for sticking to the drive for new members
and new Officers that are willing to make a commitment to the Lodge
and serve you brethren in various capacities. We are starting 2006
with a calendar full of degrees through March, and will be looking
for more candidates to fill the following months. Your Lodge officers
have worked hard over the past years to build an atmosphere that
welcomes new men into our great Fraternity and prepares them for
the task of serving their Lodge as Officers. Many of you remember
the feeling of pride and the sense of brotherhood working when you
were first asked to serve the Lodge as an Officer. This feeling
is strong in our ranks today and I trust that if called to serve
we will each one of us do what we can to cultivate the re-generation
of members that we are currently experiencing.
I view the start of 2006 as another new beginning
and I am proud and honored that I have the opportunity to serve
you again and also to work with the outstanding men who have made
a commitment to serve you.
Fraternally,
Steve Cooper, Master
